I have three lots of yarn for sale – mostly because I have too much yarn and that I’m currently kind of on a lace knitting kick.  Prices do not include shipping – pick up or local drop off in Ottawa is preferred. Contact me by e-mail at caracastson <at> gmail <dot> com if you’re interested.

Lot 1 $30 – Brown Wool by Rainbow Rock 17 skeins

  • Colour: Brown (the photo comes out grey, but it is a kind of heather chocolate brown colour).  Most skeins have ball bands.
  • Colourway: G-00-29-c
  • 100g per skein
  • 100% Wool (looks a lot like Briggs and Little Heritage).  Made in Ontario – purchased near Carleton Place.
  • Gauge: 15 Sts = 10cm (4″) on 6mm needles or 13 sts. = 5 cm (2″) on 4.5 mm needles.
  • Smoke free home – skeins have scent of sheep

Pink Guitars

Hi Blog (which I have been ignoring – partly because my Mom is reading it and it is tough to be open about the Christmas prezzies I’m making – and partly because I’ve been doing other stuff).

So I was in Value Village last night… and I’ve recently kind of been interested in playing the guitar … and there was this pink one there… and I bought it.  Seriously.  On the advice of another patron who had been playing it, and who said it was a decent beginner instrument, definitely worth the $20 + $8 for new strings.  Hi Mom!

Statistics!

Are all blog writers addicted to watching their stats?  Seriously, the “Site Stats” button gets hit too many times a day (by me).  I work darn it.

Every time the number goes up, I get a happy thrill.  I try to see where my reader looked, where the link came from, what they searched for, anything the stat function will tell me.  And if there are days that I don’t get a hit, I wonder why.

It is like high school – do they like me? why don’t they like me?  I need a life.
